guys read this before participating in this hachathon

This handling of the hackathon has been extremely disappointing and honestly feels misleading to participants.

The event was originally promoted with cash prizes, results were supposed to be announced on May 1, and after weeks of silence and no proper communication, participants are now suddenly being told about a “final round” and non-cash prizes instead.

Many of us invested huge amounts of time, effort, and sleepless nights into building projects because we trusted the organizers and the commitments made on the event page. Changing expectations after the event ended and after participants waited for weeks without updates is not professional at all.

A delay is understandable, but lack of transparency, ghosting participants, and altering the prize situation afterward seriously damages trust in the organizers and the event itself.

Participants deserved honest communication from the beginning instead of being kept in the dark.
